The goal is to progressively reach the ideal tempo of movement on the court.
Key Points
- Do 6 calf pumps then walk your feet in
- Instead of the calf pump into the centipedes, you can do knee drive over the toes into the feet sweep
- Do 5 reps on each side
- The toe touch to side lunge challenges coordination
- The aim is to eventually reach the tempo of movement on a court
- Start slow and get the movement pattern correct before increasing speed
- Do 5 of these on each side of the body
- Gradually increase the speed once you have mastered the movement
- Do 5 sets on each side
