Key Points

• As a server, your position should be slightly behind your partner at the net so you can cover the lob
• Move together at the net, following the line of the ball
• If you hit crosscourt, veer over together following the ball and giving your opponents the low percentage short angle passing shot
• If your opponents make the short angle passing shot you just have to say “too good”
• When your partner moves back for a smash, take an offensive position closer to the net looking to poach and cross off the next shot
• If your partner gets lobbed down the line, switch sides
