The Company's main administrative offices are based in the United States and that's where we process personal information collected through our Website. When you provide personal information to us, we request your consent to transfer that personal information to the United States. The United States has not received an adequacy decision from the Commission which means that the Commission has not yet determined that the laws of the United States provide adequate protection for personal information. Although the laws of the United States do not provide legal protection that is equivalent to EU data protection laws, we safeguard your personal information by treating it in accordance with this section of our Privacy Policy. COACH LIFE PRIVACY POLICY & TERMS – ADDITIONS FOR PLAYER MATCHUP FEATURE

Addendum: Match Play Service

This section supplements our Privacy Policy and explains how CoachLife collects, uses, and protects information for the Match Play Service (player matchmaking). It applies in addition to the core CoachLife Privacy Policy, which continues to govern all other aspects of the platform.

Profile Information and Matchup Search Visibility

To enable the new all-sports “Player Matchup” feature, Coach Life requires users to provide certain profile details and makes them searchable by other members of the platform:

• Mandatory Profile Data: When creating or updating your profile, you must provide your age/date of birth, gender, and general location (e.g. city or region). This information is essential for the matchmaking service to function and is considered part of your public profile within Coach Life. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information for these fields, as they will be used to filter and display profiles in search results.
• General Location, Not Exact Address: We do not display your precise address or real-time location to other users. Only your city (or general geographic area) and an approximate distance may be shown in order to indicate proximity in search results. This means other users can search for players within a certain radius of a city, and matching profiles will appear, but exact locations are never shared. Your home address or exact geolocation remains private and is used only internally to calculate distances for the matchup feature.
• Age Visibility: Your profile will show your age (typically calculated from your birth date), which allows others to search by age range. However, we will never display your full date of birth to other users. Date of birth is collected to verify your age and group you into the appropriate age category for searches, but only your age (or age range) is visible publicly. (For example, if you are 15, the system may show “15 years old” on your profile and include you in searches for users aged 14–16, but it will not reveal your exact birth date.)
• Profile Searchability: By using the matchup service, you acknowledge that your age, gender, and general location information will be visible to other users on Coach Life and can be used as filters in the search tool. All user profiles with these details filled in will appear in relevant search results by default. At this time, there is no opt-out from being included in the player search listings – if you have an active profile, other users can discover it through age, gender, or location-based searches. This is a core functionality of the service. (If you are uncomfortable with this, you may need to refrain from creating a profile or deactivate your profile, as we currently require these details for anyone who uses the feature.)

Use of Personal Data (Age, Location, Gender) for Matchmaking Only

Coach Life will only use your age, location, and gender information for the purposes of providing the player matchup service and related functionality on the platform. In particular:

• Facilitating Connections: These profile details are used to match you with compatible players or coaches – for example, finding other users in your area of a similar age group or appropriate category. They enable search filters and recommendations within the Coach Life platform. We use this information internally to improve your experience (such as showing you local matches or age-appropriate matches).
• Limited Disclosure: Your personal profile information (such as age, gender, and location) is not sold, rented, or shared with external advertisers or unrelated third parties. We may, however, use this information within the Coachlife ecosystem to improve your experience — for example, by showing you relevant training content, features, or subscription offers. This type of personalization is strictly limited to Coachlife communications and does not involve disclosing your data to outside companies.
• No Third-Party Marketing Use: Coach Life will not use your age, location, or gender information to target you with third-party ads or promotions. These details are collected solely to operate the matchup feature and enhance user connections. Within Coach Life, we may use limited profile information to personalize your experience — including showing you relevant content, features, or subscription upgrade offers. We do not share your personal details with external advertisers, and any analytics we perform are aggregated or anonymized so that individual identities are not revealed.
• Visibility of Contact Information: We also remind you that sensitive personal identifiers like your exact address, phone number, or email address are never visible to other users on the platform unless you choose to share such information via direct communication. Coach Life itself will not disclose your contact details to other members. Profile search results are limited to the basic matchmaking criteria (age, first name or nickname, gender, sport interests, city/area, etc.). Your precise contact information remains private and protected. (We strongly encourage all users, especially minors, not to share personal contact details publicly in profiles or messages.)

Children’s Privacy and Parental Consent

We are updating our policies to accommodate younger athletes on Coach Life while prioritizing their safety and privacy. Coach Life is expanding to allow users under 13 years of age to join with parental consent, and we are complying with all relevant children’s privacy laws (such as the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and similar regulations):

• Minimum Age to Participate: Children under 8 years old are not permitted to use Coach Life. Our services and platform are not directed to children below the age of 8, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children in that age group. If you are under 8, please do not attempt to register or use the site.
• Users Under 13 (Parental Consent Required): If you are between 8 and 12 years old, you may create a Coach Life profile only with a parent or legal guardian’s verifiable consent and involvement, as required by COPPA in the United States. This means a parent or guardian must review and agree to your use of Coach Life and to the collection of your personal information. We will make reasonable efforts to obtain and verify parental consent for users in this age range. No child under 13 is allowed to use the matchup feature or any part of our service without parental approval. Coach Life’s privacy practices for these young users are designed to protect personal information: we collect only what is necessary for the service (such as age, gender, and city for matchmaking) and we do not share it externally or use it for marketing, as stated above.
• Compliance with COPPA: Coach Life complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Personal information from children under 13 will not be collected, used, or disclosed without parental consent, and we will not condition participation in the app on disclosing more personal data than is reasonably required. The required profile fields (age, gender, location) are necessary to create a functional player profile; we do not ask for other identifying details from children unless needed for the service. Parents can withdraw consent at any time and request deletion of their child’s information (see below).
• Parental Access and Control: If you are a parent or guardian of a Coach Life user under 13, you have the right to review and control your child’s personal information on our platform. You may request at any time to see the information we have collected from your child, ask that it be deleted, and refuse to allow any further collection or use of your child’s data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email or address provided in our Privacy Policy. We will take steps to verify your identity as a parent/guardian and promptly comply with your requests in accordance with applicable law.
• If No Parental Consent is Obtained: In cases where we discover that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without the necessary parental consent, we will take immediate action to comply with the law. Such information will be deleted from our records and the account will be terminated to prevent any further use. For example, if a child registers with a false age and we later determine they are under 13, or if a parent contacts us to withdraw consent, that child’s profile and data will be removed from Coach Life’s systems. We urge parents to supervise their children’s online activities and inform us at once if you believe a child under 13 has used our site without permission.
• Users Under 16 in the EU: If you are a young user in the European Union or a jurisdiction with similar laws, note that we also adhere to the GDPR’s age consent requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 in the EU without parental consent. Thus, if you are 13–15 years old in an EU country, a parent or guardian must consent to your use of Coach Life (the platform or app will provide a mechanism for this during signup). The same deletion procedures stated above apply if we receive data from an under-16 EU user without the appropriate consent.
• Guidance for Teens (13–17): If you are 13 or older but not yet 18, you are generally allowed to create a Coach Life account on your own (outside the EU parent-consent case above). However, as a minor, you should use Coach Life with caution and ideally with your parent or guardian’s knowledge. Our platform contains features for finding and communicating with other users (players and coaches). We encourage family communication about online interactions. All users must abide by our community guidelines and we strictly prohibit any exploitation or harmful contact involving minors on the platform. If you are a teen user, remember never to share personal contact info publicly and report any inappropriate behavior. Parents of teens are welcome to oversee or participate in the account creation and monitoring process as well.

Updates to Terms of Service: Age Eligibility and User Obligations

Additional Terms: Match Play Service These additional terms apply to your use of the Match Play Service (player matchmaking). They do not change or replace the CoachLife Terms of Service for the core platform and video library, which remain in effect.

In conjunction with the Privacy Policy changes above, we are also updating Coach Life’s Terms of Use to reflect the expanded age range of our users and the requirements for using the matchup feature:

• Eligibility and Age Restrictions: The Coach Life platform is now available to users of age 8 and up, worldwide, subject to the consent requirements below. Our Terms of Use will no longer categorically restrict access to those 18 or older. Instead, by using Coach Life, you represent and warrant that you are either (a) at least 18 years of age, or (b) if you are under 18, that you have the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the service and to provide the personal information required by the platform. If you are under 13 years of age, you additionally affirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to your use of Coach Life and has provided verifiable consent for your participation. We reserve the right to require proof of age or parental consent at any time to verify that these eligibility conditions are met. Users who misrepresent their age or who use Coach Life without proper consent are in violation of our Terms and may have their accounts suspended or terminated.
• Account Registration for Minors: A child under 13 must have a parent or guardian involved in the registration process. This may involve the parent/guardian providing their contact information, verifying the child’s age, and explicitly consenting to the Coach Life Terms of Use and Privacy Policy on the child’s behalf. The account credentials (username/password) should be known to the parent as well, and we encourage parents to monitor the child’s activities on the platform. By allowing your minor child to use Coach Life, you (the parent/guardian) agree to be responsible for supervision of the child’s use, and you agree to the Terms of Use on the child’s behalf.
• Profile Information Requirements: As noted, all users (or their parents, for young users) must provide certain information during sign-up and maintain its accuracy. Providing false age, location, or gender information is strictly prohibited. You agree that all registration and profile details you submit are truthful, current, and complete. This includes your correct birth date (for age verification), your real city/region of residence, and your gender identity. If any of this information changes, you agree to update your profile promptly. Falsifying your age or location can pose safety risks and will be grounds for account removal. Coach Life may take steps to verify the information (for example, we may use automated age checks or request additional evidence if needed) and has the right to remove or suspend accounts that are found to contain inaccurate information.
• Consent to Profile Visibility: By creating a Coach Life account, you understand and consent that the personal profile details you provide (including age, gender, location, and any sport-related attributes or biography info you fill in) will be visible to other users within the Coach Life platform. This visibility is a fundamental aspect of the service – it enables coaches and players to find and connect with each other. We emphasize that no exact addresses or contact details are shared publicly, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, but the aforementioned profile fields will be searchable by other members. If you prefer not to share this information with others, you should not register for the matchup service. (See Privacy Policy above for details on what information is public vs. private on the platform.)
• User Conduct with Minors: We are also reinforcing in our Terms of Use that any misuse of the platform involving minors is strictly forbidden. All users must comply with our Prohibited Uses, which include not exploiting or harming minors in any way, not attempting to solicit personal data from minors beyond what is public, and not engaging in inappropriate communications. Any user (whether an adult or another minor) found to be engaging in harassment, stalking, or any form of predatory behavior toward underage users will face immediate account termination and potential reporting to law enforcement. By using Coach Life, you agree to interact with others respectfully and safely. If you are an adult using the platform (e.g. a coach or parent), you must not use the information visible on a child’s profile for any purpose outside the intended scope of Coach Life (such as contacting them off-platform without consent). Our team moderates the platform and will take action to protect our younger users.
• Acceptance of Updated Terms: Continued use of Coach Life after these changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Privacy Policy. We encourage all users (and parents of users) to review these additions carefully. If you do not agree with the new requirements regarding profile data or minor users, you may choose to discontinue use of the service. By proceeding to use the matchup feature, you are confirming that you understand and agree to these terms, including the collection and display of your age, gender, and location for matchmaking purposes.

In summary, Coach Life’s new all-sports player matchup page will require every user to provide age, location, and gender information, and this data will be shared with other users in a limited way (city-level location, age, and gender only) to facilitate connections. We are updating our Privacy Policy to clearly explain this use of personal data and to affirm that we protect your information (no precise locations or commercial sharing of data). Additionally, because we allow users as young as 8 (with parental oversight) on the platform, we are implementing strong children’s privacy protections and obtaining parental consent in compliance with COPPA. Our Terms of Use are being modified to reflect the new age allowances and to ensure that all users understand their profile visibility and responsibilities when joining Coach Life. These measures will be added to the official Coach Life Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions pages.
