I’m the founder of CoachLife and a former professional tennis player ranked 220 in the world. After my playing career, I spent several years coaching, taking complete beginners starting around 13–14 years old through to college tennis and even into the professional level—all outside of a national program. Multiple players from that system went on to compete at a high level, which shaped my belief that the right technical and tactical framework can accelerate development quickly. I then moved into business and, more recently, spent over two years traveling the world building CoachLife—filming and learning from more than 30 of the greatest junior coaches in the game. These are the coaches behind players like Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Iga Swiatek, and more. I’m obsessed with improvement, technique, and understanding what actually works at the highest level. This content is not theory. It’s built from experience on tour, coaching players through real development pathways, and learning directly from some of the best minds in tennis. Today, I continue to consult and mentor some of the top junior players in the world for their age, while building CoachLife into the leading global platform for player development. What This Content Focuses On My content is built around situation-specific technique—not just how to hit a forehand, but how to execute the right shot based on: Court position. The incoming ball, including its pace, height, and depth. The time available. The match situation. This is what separates good players from elite players. The Most Important Shot in Modern Tennis A major focus of my content is the buggy-whip or right-side-finish forehand. In my opinion, this is: The most important shot in modern tennis. The most misunderstood shot in coaching. One of the biggest opportunities for rapid improvement. It’s used constantly by players like Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, and many others, but most players are never taught it properly. I break down all the key variations, including: Handling pace and hard, deep balls. Wide and running forehands. Inside-in and inside-out patterns. Forehand returns against big serves. Creating sharp angles. Taking the ball early. Playing from behind the baseline. When you learn and apply these properly, you can: Handle pressure situations with control. Generate effortless racket-head speed. Stay aggressive even when off balance. If you commit to developing this, it can realistically improve your UTR by one to two or more points within six months. The Hidden Secret in Tennis This isn’t a new concept. It’s something the best players in the world have already figured out. The difference is: Some coaches understand it deeply. Most don’t teach it at all. That gap is where many players get stuck. What You’ll Get from My Content Across my videos, you’ll learn: How to generate effortless power without overusing the wrist. How to handle big serves on both forehand and backhand returns. How to use slice, including advanced variations such as the banana slice. How to build a second serve that becomes a weapon. How to mix spins, placement, and patterns to stay unpredictable. How to turn defensive situations into offensive opportunities. Everything is designed to be: Practical. Repeatable. Built for real match play. Ongoing Content I’ll be adding new content to my profile every month, while CoachLife continues to add one new world-class coach to the platform each month.
