Mike Schy

Mike Schy is one of the top golf coaches of all time. He coached major champion Bryson DeChambeau from age 12 through the professional ranks. Bryson has called Mike his “second father,” crediting him with embedding the scientific, self-reliant approach to swing mechanics and equipment that defines his game. Schy also mentors the next wave of elite players, including junior sensation Asterisk Talley, whom he coached from age 8 to 16 and continues to support, as well as Spencer Levin during his junior years. He has also worked with many top US juniors, touring professionals, and collegiate golfers. Based in Fresno, California, he runs a thriving academy at Dragonfly, helping countless athletes earn college scholarships and turn professional. His philosophy is to build a learning culture and then learn to win. He replaces one-off lessons with true coaching—structure, accountability, competition, and curiosity.
